Drew is truly a miracle and blessing in our lives. We wake up each morning and go to bed each night knowing how blessed we are. When we “interviewed” at the daycare last fall (when I was 9 weeks pregnant!) the director told us to enjoy our names. She explained we would soon be Drew’s Mom or Drew’s Dad. How GREAT it has been to become Drew’s Mom.
What a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! Kevin made all the plans and took me to a wonderful dinner Friday night and had roses for me when I got home from work. We enjoyed just spending time together without having to chase Cheerios! The weekend has been so much fun spending time with Drew and Kevin. Being a wife and mother is the most rewarding thing I do. I am so lucky to have a partner in the world of parenting who makes being a mom so much easier.
For my mom….Thanks Mom for all you taught me and all the sacrifices you made for me. For my mother-in-law...thanks for raising such an amazing son. Thanks to all the women in my life who have provided and those who continue to provide "motherly" guidance. Our families and friends love and support has been a true blessing in this journey of parenthood. I wanted to post something fun for Mother's Day, so here are videos of Drew last week. He is such a happy baby!
