What a FANTASTIC weekend! Drew’s baptism this past Sunday was a wonderful day. Family and friends were here to share the day and he could not have been a happier baby.
My father who is a Methodist minister in Arkansas did the baptism. Drew wore my baptismal gown, which thankfully fit, that my Granny bought for me. His beautiful crocheted booties were a gift from his Mississippi family, John & Amy MacNeill. He couldn’t have done any better all weekend and the weather was beautiful. We are sooooo very lucky to have such a happy baby. He enjoyed all the attention and was disappointed when he woke up from his Sunday nap and it was just Kevin and I there to play with him.
Many of our friends and family weren't able to make it so we have lots of pictures and of course a video to share. Below are some of the pictures from the day that Beth MacNeill took. Beth has a wonderful gift with a camera and took some magnificent pictures that we will treasure. The church also posted the video of the baptism for all of our friends and family who weren't able to be there on the below website. Hope you enjoy.

Drew finally met his namesake, Diane Ayres. Although we wished WE could have been here too, there was no doubt he was watching from above. It was so special to have Diane here to celebrate his baptism. Diane and WE were also there the day I was baptized.

He is so handsome. I'm so glad you all had such a wonderful weekend.
