It has been a busy week at our house. Drew is in school full time now and I am getting used to being back at work full time. I have missed my work so much and missed my friends at work even more. It would be a perfect world if I could just bring him to work with me everyday! He is LOVING school. There are 2 teachers (Mrs. Molly and Mrs. Jamie) and 4 babies. He is outnumbered right now with 3 girls, but a new boy starts today, so their will be 5 babies in his class. We enjoy our afternoon walks and he is LOVING the new jogging stroller I got for my birthday. He especially likes the iPod hookup so he can listen to the music while we walk.
He is laughing now which is soooooo much fun. He really has such a laid-back, happy personality. (He may look like Kevin, but the laid-back and happy comes from me!) And he has found his thumb. Despite all my encouragement with the pacifier he is more interested in his thumb. His cousin Jace informed us you can tell if he sucks his thumb at night by checking to see if they are wet in the morning. Well, he has wet thumbs.
Below are some pictures from his first MacNeill football party. John & Amy MacNeill are good friends of ours here in Jackson. Kevin and John work together. They are big Ole Miss fans and have already started working on teaching him “Hotty Toddy.” Kevin is dead set on him knowing his Georgia legacy. In case you haven’t heard on Facebook Kevin actually changed him from a black Georgia onesie last week to a white one for better luck! He had a great time with Amy and John and Terre and Hardy Harris.
