Walking in the Grove
Ole Miss Campus
Oxford, MS
In case you haven't been able to see "mini-me" in action, you can see it now. They even walk identically! I have intended to blog all week long and it just hasn't happened. It has been another crazy busy week. Meetings in Atlanta and then Drew had his adenoids out on Thursday. Everything went well and we are home today with a little boy who is ready to get out of the house. Hopefully this will help cure the sinus infections and we can finally stop visiting our friends at the Kroger pharmacy for antibiotics. It looks like he will have to have his tonsils out, but that will have to wait until he is a little older. Something fun to look forward to....not!
Luckily, in preparation for this busy week we had a WONDERFUL spring weekend in Oxford, Mississippi. Georgia played Ole Miss in baseball so we enjoyed a two beautiful days of baseball. We stayed with our friends John and Amy MacNeill and to say Drew enjoyed himself would be an understatement. It was so much fun. Thanks to my law partner we had great seats at the ballgame. (Drew now thinks you can have unlimited hot dogs and popcorn at baseball games.) So good to get away and just spend some time together. The weather was great and the azaleas and dogwoods were beautiful!
Meeting Colonel Reb
Initially Drew got a little confused as Colonel Reb resembles another bearded man in a red suit. He learned quickly that one says "Ho, Ho, Ho" and the other says "Hotty Toddy!"

Georgia vs. Ole Miss
Drew kept wanting to know where the dogs were.
And, no, we did not wear our Georgia attire to the game out of respect for our friends who shared their tickets. We dressed in neutral red and white!
Mr. John was "helping" Drew with his golf swing.
And we wonder why Drew thinks he is so much fun...he is just a big kid!!

looks like Drew handled the heat better than Wyatt did. It was so hot in Starkville.
ReplyDeleteLooks like y'all had fun. Sweet Drew. Can't believe he had surgery. hope he is feeling much better.
