Summering into Fall

Now that school starts in August it is hard to know when summer ends and fall begins.  Especially in a place where it is 80 at least one day a week 52 weeks a year.  Summer officially came to an end the first week of August when school started.  Owen finally started at Jackson Academy and I am not sure who was more excited - me or him!  Having both boys at the same place, on the same schedule and at the school at the end of our street is WONDERFUL!  We love JA and so do our boys.

We were so excited to see so many of our friends from last year in Mrs. Kilpatrick's class.  All that to say Stone Harraway had assured Drew and Henson he "had it handled!"  I love that kid!

After just a week of school starting Kevin and I took a quick trip to Key West.  We had planned to go to Belize, but that was interrupted by Hurricane Earl.  So the next best thing - Key West.  It is a one of our favorite places to go.  It is laid back and provides the right about of food, sun and, of course, beautiful fishing.  It was so much fun to have Justin and Emily there to celebrate Justin's birthday.
