Heading into Spring 2016

Life stays busy and these boys are growing like weeds.  If I didn't see it with my own eyes I could use my grocery bill as proof!  Legos are the toy of choice and they are dying to get done with the cold weather so they can get outside again.  The end of daylight savings can't come fast enough.  In the meantime we are enjoying the growth of our Sunday night children's program at Galloway.  With just 25 or so kids a year ago we topped out at nearly 165 a week or so ago.  Our dads (specifically OUR dad) has jumped in to handle the cooking.  Hard to turn away good food and free babysitting on Sunday nights.  It is so much fun to watch our kids bond at church.

Sunday Night Live cooks - Alan, Damon and Kevin
And then it was time - time for Owen to go tour JA!  My baby will start K3 in August!  He was beyond excited and had trouble understanding why he couldn't start immediately.

There is a day for everything - rodeo day, 100th day of school, patriotic day and Dr. Seuss day.
100th day of school - yes, dad whipped this up in the garage in an hour!

Just hanging around with Mr. Justin

And then spring break - I had to head out to Beverly Hills so we planned around my schedule so we could squeeze in a weekend in New Orleans.  Plan was to take the train and for dad to meet us.  Unfortunately rain caused cancellations so we had to turn to plan B and drive.  New Orleans with kids is a whole different experience, but we had a blast.  Well at least until Drew got sick!  Funny part is Kevin went to the lobby at 3am for Gatorade and something to clean up vomit and realized that was common in NOLA!  The maid was just appreciative we were cleaning it up - she said most people don't.  YUCK!!!  Other than that though we enjoyed the Aquarium, the Insectarium, a carriage ride, a pedicab ride, beignets and dinner at Brennens.  Oh, and how could I forget, dinner at Manning's with Archie and Olivia!

I LOVE Drew in this picture - they have talked and talked about Dad eating a bug at the bug cafe.
He's such a good sport!
