Well we made it 6 years, 5 months and a handful of days without any broken bones. Not a bad record for a household of two rambunctious boys! After several weeks of complaints followed by some limping we finally decided to get Drew's foot checked out. I was sure it was something to do with his major growth spurt - he's grown 6 inches and gained 10 pounds in 6 months!!! Turns out it was a stress fracture and the growth spurt didn't help. So we got our first cast. Casts look like a lot more fun than they really are. Not fun! Luckily after 3 weeks of stabilization all looked better and we got the cast off just in time for Christmas and the trip to Great Wolf Lodge!
