How can it be that my baby is already 2. As much as I am loving this little boy walking and talking and joining in the daily routines of our life I just want him to be little a little while longer.
He is smart, funny and the cutest kid ever.
He adores his big brother and follows him everywhere.
He loves singing in the car. He will sing "Let It Go" or "Bring on the Rain" at the top of his lungs whenever he gets the urge. He knows more MercyMe, Casting Crowns and Zack Brown songs than I do.
He likes watching Mickey Mouse clubhouse while he drinks milk and eats a Nutri-grain bar every morning, but prefers Curious George any other time. Planes: Fire and Rescue is the movie of choice in the car.
He wants to be a football player. He will tell you he is a JA Raider. He calls the Hogs pretty well despite being a Georgia bulldog at heart.
He loves being outside. Riding on the polaris. And digging holes.
He isn't scared of anything.
Most days he will tell you his name is "Aubrey" and he is 5.
He LOVES to play with the tags in his shirt. When I cut them all out he started trying to get to the tag in the back of his pants.
He hates carrots, loves sushi - yes, even the raw stuff, eats grapes, cheezits and goldfish like he is a starving child. He would choose a Rice Krispie treat over cake any day.
He loves Llama, Llama books, Goodnight Moon and anything related to farms, tractors or school buses.
His birthday gift is a Mickey guitar so he can play along with his daddy.
He is trouble when he's quiet and laughs with is whole body.
He usually says the blessing at least twice with every meal and likes to "help" cook.
He is a precious gift from God.
Happy Birthday, Sweet Owen - Mommy, Daddy and Drew "love you bunches!"
That's right - Rice Krispie Mickey Pirate Cake - I do have some useful talents!
